#951 last 12 page issue. Danny on a Dolphin and The Queen's Highway both end.

#952 1st 16 page issue and classic new logo. The Great Flood of London two page colour strip begins. Nice. Plus Danger Man, The Three Bears and The Ting-A-Ling Taylors.

#953 free gift Flying Snorter. The first free gift since issue #90 dated April 1939! The Flying Snorter gift was used again for Sparky #1 in 1965. This free gift adds probably £40-£60 to the value of the comic.

#954 Clicketty Clicker free gift issue. This was the last free gift apart from cut-out 'puppets' in the comic until 1971. This is such a tough gift to find and easily adds £50-£100 to the value of the comic.

#955 Although there is no mention of Fireworks on the front cover, it is a 5th November issue. And the Little Plum strip is clearly a Fireworks story. Also a nice full page advert for a free gift issue of The Dandy.

#960 great cover!

The free gifts for issues #953 and #954 are very tough to find and could add at least £50-£100. You occasionally see them advertised separately for sale with no comic. Grab them if you see one for sale!
