VICTOR (THE)
A popular title with great nostalgic appeal and with some great strips like Tough of the Track and Morgyn the Mighty. #1 is genuinely scarce in any grade and the last couple of years' worth also hard to come by. The free gift Super Squirt Ring was taped to a random page inside the comic so there are often tears when the free gift has been removed.
A past eBay sale of #1 (in Nov 2007) of an apparently excellent copy with no free gift was £77. Another very nice copy sold on eBay for £74.99 back in May 2008. A complete year 1971 sold on eBay back in Sep 2008 for £30 in nice looking VG examples which seemed pretty cheap to me at the time when I was first putting this on-line Guide together.
