I don't know much about this comic and only have the one copy #53. Robin of the Jungle is NOT listed in the Dennis Gifford British Library catalogue of comics so it's a mystery! Is #53 the last issue? You could definitely buy this comic title in the UK in the early 1950s as I picked up an original owner collection recently with this comic in it. Robin of the Jungle was NOT available in the United States at the time of publication.
The French artist Andre Oulie created the character Robin the Intrepid and I guess the rights were picked up by publisher Press Book Ltd and a monthly comic was created, re-named Robin of the Jungle and distributed in the UK by L. Miller & Son. The dates I have guesstimated are based on other L. Miller titles at the time.
Other L. Miller comic titles advertised on the back cover include Zorro, Sergeant O'Brien and Captain Tornado which gives more clues about date parameters.
eBayer juanespacio contacted me in Sep 2017 to say that he has a #55 and a frend has a #59.....
Values? Hard to say but £20 or so for this #53 in Fine Plus condition would seem reasonable.
Note: some PR issues may have no value. Selected issues in FN, VF or VF/NM may not exist in some titles.
