OUT OF THIS WORLD (2ND SERIES)
I am struggling with date parameters. 1963 to 1965 has been my long-held thought. But it could be that this series came out later than I originally thought. Issue #1 came out in the same month/year as Weird Planets. Both were advertised on the back cover of Uncanny Tales #21 which I reckon was Feb 1965.
All 1/- cover price with a triangular shape around the issue number.
#17 has an interior reprint (but not on the cover sadly. Can you imagine...worth thousands more!) of Amazing Fantasy #15 and as such it is very sought after. Easily £750+ in higher grades. In Jun 2022 a low grade copy with 2 panels cut fetched £150 with Comic Book Postal Auctions.
Aug 2022: there are 7 copies listed on the CGC Census: 1 in 7.0, 1 in 6.0, 1 in 3.5, 1 in 2.5, 1 in 2.0 amd 2 copies in 1.8.
The 3.5 copy is currently advertised on eBay UK for £1,997.97. An insane asking price but as we all know, a comic is only really worth what someone is prepared to pay for it....
