My Favourite fanzine - I even had a letter published in it! Produced by The Guv'nor himself Alan Austin and the father of comic price guides in this country. I include this as a title in as much as when early issues show up for sale, they sell! In very nice condition you can see prices of £40 and £50. A rattling good read and a snap-shot of how comic fandom in the UK was back in the earlier days...imagine Fantastic Four #1 priced at £15 and Mike Hill trying to sell a Detective #27 at a London comic mart for £750 with no takers.
The first issue was numbered #8 dated July-August 1972. Alan had continued the numbering from his previous pubications An Adzine/Aftermath.
Alan also did a nice Batman Special for issue #16 and two issues of the Golden Age Fanzine - all collectible!
Apr 2016: a copy of issue #9 in very nice condition fetched £62 on eBay UK.
