One of the long-running Marvel Westerns, with lots of great art from Colan, Crandall, Heath and Kirby.
The first officially Distributed issues was #91 dated Jul 1960. #1-90 were Non Distributed in the UK at the time.
The first four issues of this series were indicia titled Kid Colt. The first three issue bore no Marvel insignia. The first two issues were cover titled Kid Colt: Hero of the West. At issue 3, cover title became Kid Colt Outlaw. At issue 4, the then-Marvel logo became prominent on the cover. At issue 5, both cover and indicia title became Kid Colt Outlaw for the remainder of the series.
There were at least two significant publishing breaks. The first occurred between issues 1 and 2, which were separated by about half a year. The second was between March 1968 and November 1969.
Note that issues #140, #142-200 and #202-229 are all reprint. New Two Gun Kid story in #141, new Kid Colt story in #201.
Strangely there were no King Size annuals (as with all Marvel Western titles) but there were three Giant Size Annuals (in 1975).
