X-MEN (2ND SERIES)
Launched in Oct 1991, millions of copies of the first issue in five different covers were printed and was sensational at the time. There are so many copies of thie first and early issues that prices have remained static ever since.
After the 1963 X-Men series which would eventually be re-named Uncanny X-Men in 1981, this is the second series to be named X-Men. Since the first issue in October 1991 the series has had various name changes. In 2001, with issue #114 the title was re-named New X-Men and it ran for 43 issues. With #157 the series reverted back to its original title X-Men. With #208 (Apr 2008) the series was re-named, once again, and called X-Men: Legacy.
A new X-Men series debuted in Sep 2010 which I am calling X-Men (3rd Series) so go look for that title....
