A series that was originally intended to be a Mini-Series, then made into an ongoing, then canceled after 13 issues.
Writer John Whalen and Eisner-nominated artist Mike Hawthorne bring chilling new life to The Un-Men - the former Swamp Thing adversaries created by Anton Arcane in Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson ground-breaking Swamp Thing run - with a series that explores what it means to be a freak in society.
The Un-Men made their first appearance in 1972, in the first and second issues of the original Swamp Thing series. The characters made subsequent appearances in later issues of Swamp Thing and its successor series, Saga of the Swamp Thing, and in the 1994 five-issue Vertigo miniseries, American Freak: A Tale of the Un-Men.
This 13 issue run has been collected into two Trade Paper Backs:
The Un-Men: Get Your Freak On! (#1-5)
The Un-Men: Children of Paradox (#6-13)
