12 issues were published and 1 Annual, though they were all 'annuals' as they were only published once a year.
DC began an annual tradition of producing a "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" Christmas Special in 1950. Following the success of the famous song in 1949, DC licensed the character and put Rudolph at the center of a series of light hearted adventures. Rudolph's holiday festivities included everything from pulling a stuck Santa out of a chimney to running on a treadmill to power a complex contraption that painted a series of last-minute toys for Santa. The Christmas Specials would continue until 1962, and then return from 1972-1977.
There was no numbering on the covers but I have numbered each issue for ease of identification.
Issues #1-9 were Non-Distributed in the U.K. at the time so always cents copies. Issues #10-12 and the Annual were Distributed in the U.K. at the time. #10 is considered the rarest issue. But I notice that on the CGC Census 1952 through to 1955 issues and 1958/50 and 1960/61 issues have yet to register a single copy. This is one rare title!
