PUNISHER (3RD SERIES) (THE)

Regular series that ran for 18 issues.

This series started only a few months after the The Punisher (2nd Series) was cancelled along with the Punisher's other two comics Punisher: War Journal and Punisher: War Zone. This series continues the story started in Double Edge: Alpha and Double Edge: Omega . It was printed under the Marvel Edge imprint with John Ostrander scripts. After Issue #18, Marvel cancelled the series only for The Punisher to return in the underwhelming 4-issue Mini-Series (The Punisher (4th Series)) that both fans and Marvel would probably like to forget.

These were all now ND or Non Distributed in the UK at the time, available only in specialist comic shops and not in high street newsagents. There are probably less copies in circulation in the UK market than if they had been widely available.
