19 issue series, part of the DC Universe Rebirth initiative.
With the 20th issue the title changes to New Super-Man and the Justice League of China and continues its numbering from this series.
Rebirth started with the release of an 80-page standalone comic called DC Universe: Rebirth #1, written by Geoff Johns followed by a number of Rebirth one-shots that led into new #1 issues. From there DC launched 32 new ongoing series (15 shipping once-a-month and 17 shipping twice-a-month). Each of these new series will start over with #1 (with the exception of Action Comics and Detective Comics, which will revert to their pre-New 52 numbering).
The series is reprinted in three Trade paperback collections:
New Super-Man Vol. 1: Made In China (#1-6)
New Super-Man Vol. 2: Coming to America (#7-12)
New Super-Man Vol. 3: Equalibrium (#13-19)
