This is the first series published by Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson's National Allied Publications, which would become National Periodical Publications and then DC. This is also the first U.S.A. comic publication featuring previously unpublished original material. Virtually impossible to find high grade issues.
Becomes More Fun starting with issue #7.
New Fun #6 is the 1t appearance of Dr. Occult, a character regarded by many as a template and forerunner of Superman and so this issue has taken on a special historical significance on the last couple of decades.
