In the last week of August 2011 DC brought their existing line of titles to an end and replaced them with a line of 52 first issues that takes place in a new post-Flashpoint universe.

This title saw the launch of the new DCU Justice League (no "of America"!) with a starting roster of Superman, Batman (Bruce Wayne), Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Flash and, no, not Martian Manhunter but.... Cyborg.

In common with other 'new 52' titles, the first issue sold out and a 2nd print #1 soon followed. A very successful title for DC this one - #1 went to a 5th printing and the 'combo pack' idea for issue #1 sold well too. Three printings of that. This was DC's most successful 'New 52 title'.  The Jim Lee art had a lot to do with it...

The series is collected in a number of Hardcover and Trade paperback collections:

Justice League (2nd Series): The Villain's Journey (#7-12)

Justice League (2nd Series): Throne of Atlantis (#13-17, Aquaman (5th Series) #15-16)
