The first seven Amazing Spider-Man Annuals were all distributed in the UK through the usual outlets of newsagents, sweetshops and other magazine/newspaper stands. From #8 onwards they all became ND or Non Distributed in the UK at the time of publication so these issues are always cents copies.
After Annual #28, Spider-Man annuals went a bit all over the place. in 1995 there wasn't one. In 1996, it came out as a '96 Special (or Annual #29) followed by a '97 Special (Annual #30). '98 Special (Annual #31). Annuals #32-34 appeared under The Amazing Spider-Man 2nd Series in 1999, 2000 and 2001.
The Annuals re-appeared as The Amazing Spider-Man Annual #1 in 2008 (technically Annual #35). And then the old numbering resumed on #36 in 2009.
