The complete 12 issue Watchmen series written by Alan Moore with art and covers by Dave Gibbons collected together for the first time in DC's oversized Absolute format. Slipcased Edition with dustjacket.
The extra material for this volume is reprinted from the limited edition Watchmen hardcover published by Graphitti Designs in 1987 and includes samples of Moore's scripts, the original Watchmen proposal, Gibbons's conceptual art and cover roughs. Originally released in 2005 it was released in November 2008 about a year ahead of the film adaptation.
