BEANO COMIC (THE)

By this stage, true very high grade copies of The Beano are hard to come by. The increasing frequency of free gifts like sweets aatched by sellotape bend and mark the front cover. A nightmare if you want a true Near Mint copy of an issue.

Free gift issues should sell for more, perhaps three times the values listed below.

#2425 dated Jan 7th 1989 is techinically the New Year isue but no mention on the cover as in days gone by...

#2445 has a Dennis the Menace Chew Bar attached to the cover. Beware! It melts after a few years.

#2640 has a Fizzers bar attached to cover. Beware! It can melt...

#2465 came pre-bagged witha 40 page sticker album The Magic of Beano plus 5 stickers.

#2466 has a free pack of The Magic of Beano Stickers attached to the cover.

#2467 has a Woolworth's Halloween Pick and Mix bag which was not an official free gift but an interesting insert at the time.

#2475 dated Dec 23rd is the Christmas issue.
