Christmas issues but not so significant as #21.

#22 is the 'right date' as it were of 24th Dec 1938, with 'snow' on logo. A copy graded Good with two small file holes to the spine sold for £187 in a COMPAL auction June 2009. A G/VG #22 with 'spine curl' sold for £236 on eBay UK in Dec 2009.

Clearly all the Christmas content with Frosty McNab, Hooky's Magic Bowler Hat, Lord Snooty and Hicky the Hare are very attractive so I'll keep an eye on sales of this issue.

#23 is a 'post-Christmas' issue dated 31st Dec 1938 with 'snow' on the logo.

Jun 2015: Comic Book Postal Auctions sold a Fine copy #22 for £820. And in the same sale a #23 in Fine Minus described as 'Bright covers, cream/light tan pages. Two ½ ins tears to lower cover margin, some light creasing at top margin' for £820. Both sales include a 14% Buyer's Premium.
