A copy of #452 in high grade sold on eBay UK for £285 in 2007. Another copy in VG Minus sold for £126.05 in 2008. And a stunning Near Mint copy sold for £399.99! (Sep 2008). This is the highest price so far.

Another copy of #452 graded Fine with foxing at the bottom of the cover sold on eBay UK for £137.25 in Aug 2009. A copy of #453 (2nd Dennis) in VG/Fine sold for £37 on eBay UK Aug 2009. A #459 (early Dennis appearance) in Fine sold for £26.51 on eBay UK in Feb 2010. As with all prices in this Guide, they are just a guide! I will monitor sales where I can and adjust and very often sale prices can spike when two collectors are bidding against each other. A copy of #485 the Fireworks issue in a nice VG/FN fetched £60 on eBay UK in Nov 2010. A #492 Xmas issue in Good Minus fetched an amazing £51 in Nov 2010 as well. This seems to be a tricky Christmas issue to find. Christmas issue in the 1950s can go for up to 3 times the value of a regular issue.

Another sale of #452: a FN+ copy sold on eBay UK for £345.

Apr 2013: a VG copy of #452 fetched £147 on eBay UK.

Jun 2021: philcomics sold a copy for £620. Nice.

In 2003 Portfolio Editions produced a facsimile A5 size copy of #452 in a presentation pack which often gets mistaken for the original. On its own it may sell for a couple of pounds, Near Mint in its folder maybe £10.
