Xmas 1946. A copy graded Very Fine sold for £205 in the June 2009 COMPAL catalogue. Clearly Xmas issues can command high prices. Beano Xmas issues up to 1950 are a big growth area and I will watch sales and prices.

Summer 2009 Comic Book Postal Auctions catalogue, a real beauty Very Fine copy (surely the highest graded copy) fetched a very reasonable £205.
Summer 2012 - a FN+ copy fetched £205 in the COMPAL catalogue.
And in their Summer 2013 catalogue, a Fine Minus copy fetched £181.
