TV CENTURY 21 INTERNATIONAL EXTRA
One of the 6 sought after TV 21 Extras (or Summer Specials). Genuinely scarce. Turns up on eBay UK once in a seldom while.
This was the third TV 21 special. Advertised for sale for the first time in TV Century 21 #38 dated 9th Oct 1965.
Features: Stingray (5 pages black and white), Contact 21 (5 pages three in colour), Supercar (2 pages black and white), Fireball XL5 (5 pages balck and white), a Stingray illustrated text story and a photo feature on the beind the scenes look at how Stingray is made.
Supercar (2 pages black and white), Lady Penelope (6 pages black and white), Supecar (2 pages black and white), Stingray (7 pages black and white with artwork by Ron "The Daleks" Turner - very nice). Great back cover advert for the Fireball XL5 parachute rocket which I begged my parents to get but alas never got. One day...
Aug 2014 - a very tightly graded VG copy fetched £133 on eBay UK.
