Suzy contained celebrity interviews and regular features alongside comic strips and picture stories in the tradition of comics such as Judy or Bunty (which this title eventualy merged with for a brief time in 1987. The Suzy logo on the Bunty cover lasted 8 issues).

Suzy is an under-rated comic/magazine with high quality writing in the stories. The best of them was "The Silver Sword" - it is set during the Second World War and it is also a story with a sympathetic German helper. Three siblings Ruth, Edek and Bronia are alone after the Nazis take their mother away, their father is looking for them, but most people believe the children are dead after their house was blown up. Also interesting is in this is that it is the male protagonists we follow, first Edek and then the father Joseph.

4th Feb 1984, the title amalgamated with Tops, another DC Thomson title. It is a title that rarely comes up for sale.

A copy of #1 sold on eBay UK in Jul 2010 with the free gift Charming Heart to Heart Bracelet for £50.52. The free gift in #2 is the Super Silvery Neck Chain with a Lucky Horseshoe Charm.
