STARLORD
Short-lived but interesting title, designed at the time as a companion piece to 2000AD. Very common though. It's amazing what prices are achieved on eBay UK for issue #1! Nov 2007: £19.50! The free gift Starlord Badge is usually attached to the cover as people kept duplicates for re-sale at the time. I have seen boxes of number one issues! It really isn't scarce or rare!
The Starlord Badges with issue #1 came in these variations: Pilot, Robot Regiment, Laser Specialist, Skateboard Force, Tank Commander and Time Warden.
A set of #1-22 sold on eBay UK for £53 in Mar 2008. A healthy 22 bids as well. Another set plus summer special sold for £66 Mar 2009. Note that 4 issues (3rd Jun to 24th Jun) have parts 1-4 of Hell Planet Game to cut out and make up into a full game. Be sure issues you buy don t have these missing! No numbers on the covers apart from issues #1,2,3 and 12 (for some reason!)
