Short-lived bi-monthly 9 issue series.

MIss Beverly Hills of Hollywood starred a character named "Beverly Hills" and her boyfriend "Will Shire". Hills was a would-be starlet on a never-ending, never-fulfilled quest to be a star, who was aided by Shire's journalistic contacts inside various studios.

Sometimes the stories were completely fictional, but often they included a chance meeting between Hills and some real movie star. These meeting were usually shown to be happening while the star in question was filming their "latest picture", allowing the story to in effect become an advertising gimmick.

The series also contained several other regular sequences in its large, 52-page format. One such recurring piece was "Will Shires Interviews", a fictional text-and-photograph backup that posited a "Will Shire" Q&A with a particular movie star. The bi-monthly further contained a short, usually four-page story involving Beverly's sister, Janie.

Each issue also generally included one story that did not feature Beverly, Will or Janie, but would instead be simple biographies of film stars.

Following the last issue of this series, the character became a backup feature in The Adventures of Bob Hope.

The East Coast "companion" to this title was Miss Melody Lane of Broadway, a similarly-themed character who interacted with Broadway stars.
