INCREDIBLE HULK (2ND SERIES) (THE)

The Hulk first appeared in issues #1-6 of his first title in 1962. The character then featured in Tales to Astonish from #60 to #101.

All issues of this second own title Hulk series (starting at #102) were distributed in the UK up until #153 which signalled the beginning of scarcity and Non Distribution. Generally speaking the distribution was very good and only #103 proved to be scarce in the UK. #158 and #160 reputedly came over to the UK in very small quantities to newsagents and was listed as nd rather than ND in dealers' sales lists in the mid 70s.

The Hulk has always been popular in the UK and it's no surprise that when Marvel UK launched The Mighty World of Marvel in 1973, they chose the Hulk as their main feature.

Then it all goes a bit crazy. And is a nightmare for us Price Guide compilers.

After #474 of this series, the next series was Hulk (1st Series) issues #1 Apr 1999 to #11 Feb 2000.

Then The Incredible Hulk (3rd Series) #12 Mar 2000-112 Jan 2008.

Then The Incredible Hercules #113 Feb 2008-141 Apr 2010.

Then back to Incredible Hulk #600 Sep 2009-611.

Then The Incredible Hulks with #612 Nov 2010 to #635.

And most currently, The Incredible Hulk (4th Series) from Oct 2011 onwards.
