DC SPECIAL SERIES
Launched as part of the DC Explosion, DC Special Series was anthology that focused on a different character every month. It would survive the following Implosion, lasting until the 1981 #27 - Batman vs. The Incredible Hulk - a crossover between DC & Marvel.
I have decided to list these one-shots under the same series banner but you will also find them listed individually as people usually reference them by the tiitle on the cover rather than the series title in the indicia.
This is a very tricky series to put together and virtually all of them were Non Distributed in the UK at the time. As extra one-offs I remember them being an extra strain on the budget at the time so many people just didn't bother picking them up. Try and find them now!
Note that #18, #19, #23 and #24 are digest size. #25-27 are Treasury/Tabloid size.
