3 issue Mini-Series. Paul Grist script, Karl Kerschi and Greg Adams art. Black and white.

The story follows various members of the Daily Bugle through their days. Charlie Snow gives an office tour and explains Newswriting 101, Phil Urich and a photographer work on an investigative story involving Morgan Hall, Betty Brant is sent off to interview the owner of the Food Factory and Ken Ellis has been tipped off to a story that could shape up to be a scandal of national importance.

Despite the slow beginnings of their respective stories, each writer snowballs into something more nefarious. Urich is nearly beaten senseless by Hall's goons when he threatens a paid off congressman's career and Betty is told to meet a strange man somewhere to talk about the real story. Unfortunately for Ellis, the "big one" that he hoped to catch was just a raving lunatic insisting that aliens are invading.

After the story about the congressman is published, Betty meets with her contact about some kind of story that needs her attention, but before he can explain what it is, he's shot dead.

From Sep 2006-Jan 2008 there was a '2nd' series of the Daily Bugle which was a newspaper style monthly series with all the info on upcoming comics and projects. No particular value today.

The Mini-Series is collected in the Spider-Man: Daily Bugle Trade paperback collection.
