A group called the Mighty Crusaders was created by Archie under their Mighty Comics line in the 1960s. A second Mighty Crusaders group was created also by Archie Comics under their Red Circle Comics line of the 1980s. DC Comics licensed the Archie superheroes for their Impact line in the 1990s, and the team was simply called the Crusaders - their adventures contained in the eight issues of this short-lived series.
