Short-lived series that ran for 9 issues.
Cliffhanger switched publishers from Image to DC sometime in 1999. The last issue was not published through Cliffhanger when the creator went back to Image comics.
Issues #1-4, 9 & the Prelude issue were published by Image. Issues #5-8 were published by DC.
This glossy story arc introduces the characters of Gully, Garisson, Monkia, Knolan and Calibretto and drops us into a battle over magical battle gloves that give the wearer enormous strength. Although it ran for so few issues it had a lasting impact on the comic book scene and the character of Red Monika has been especially well received.
