Regular bi-weekly series, part of the DC Universe Rebirth initiative.
The numbering for this series continues from Action Comics (1st Series) which finished on #904 and adds in the 52 issues from the New 52 Action Comics (2nd Series).
Rebirth started with the release of an 80-page stand-alone comic called DC Universe: Rebirth #1, written by Geoff Johns followed by a number of Rebirth one-shots that led into new #1 issues. From there DC launched 32 new ongoing series (15 shipping once-a-month and 17 shipping twice-a-month). Each of these new series will start over with #1 (with the exception of this Action Comics title and Detective Comics, which revert to their pre-New 52 numbering).
