Very collectible title for the Gerry Anderson and Walt Disney content and some great covers in later issues. This is a very tough set to put together. One was offered on eBay UK several years ago and went for £300. Issue #19 saw the start of The Mark of the Mysterons strip by Don Harley and also Project SWORD, the Gerry Anderson television series that never was. It's one that is very elusive!
The free gift Solar Saucer with issue #1 is very rare and would add £125-£175 to the value quite easily. There was no annual or Summer Special for this title.
Issues #1-17 as a run, in about VG to VG+ condition, sold for £235 on eBay UK way back in Oct 2010 when I first started this on-line Guide.
Sep 2021: Comic Book Postal Auctions set a new record for Solo #1 with gift at £620. Amazing!
Dec 2023: Comic Book Postal Auctions raised £1,404 (including19% Buyer's Premium) for a complete set of #1-31. Great stuff from this respected auctioneer!
