Regarded as the very first specialist anthology of science fiction stories for the UK market. It was a weekly and featured arresting sci-fi covers. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Poison Bell is serialised in issues #14-18 and this gives the title it's collector interest. Very tough to find and a wonderful insight into the sci-fi scene of the time when the very word ‘scientifiction’ had only been coined in 1929 in Amazing Stories in the States.
Issue #1 came with the free gift Checkerboard Puzzle of which only 1 known example has ever been offered for sale.
