Not strictly a comic I know but I always loved
this cover. They went to the trouble of re-creating the cover to Action #1 only
to put stars behind the title logo! There’s a feature inside behind the Arena
documentary which was the first serious programme on a major comics character.
Producer Anthony Wall did a great job and there’s interviews with creators
Seigel and Shuster and a weird guy at the end who kept a bit of the Superman
anniversary birthday cake – the only piece left.
And I just love that cover.
