Like the Beano Summer Specials, these have become part of British comics' history with brilliant covers evoking memories of buckets and spades by the sea. Large tabloid size comics which are difficult to store so corners get turned and edges get creased and crumpled.
The 2013 edition celebrated 50 years of past stories. And said it was going to be the last one ever. But in 2014, the Summer Special was back, by popular demand!
