Amazingly long-lived young
children s title. Bound volumes come up for auction from time to time
but as
you can imagine, putting together a complete run of single issues would
be nigh
on impossible. The first issues was 12 pages long tabloid size featuring
Dicky
the Duck by Arthur White. Value in VG condition about £50-£70. What I
like are
the early annuals quite delightful nursery books in a huge tabloid
size
format. Worth picking one up for curiosity value. Second hand bookshops
may
turn a few up and expect to pay £20 or so for a little piece of
nostalgic England. The annuals ran from 1924 to 1957.
