What a collectible title! Very successful war comic with the iconic comic strip Charley's War by Pat Mills & Joe Colquhoun. Free gift with #1 Combat Stickers add maybe £20 to value. Near Mint means near flawless with white pages. Significant sales: when I sold my own run of Battle Action comics in Feb 2009 which I should add were very high grade being bought from new, I was pleasantly surprised by the prices achieved for complete years: 1980 £112.45, 1981 £72, 1982 £71, 1983 £310 (with all free gifts), 1984 £258.27, 1985 £411.96 (with all free gifts), 1986 and the first seven issues from 1987 before the title changed) £128.45.
Note: 1st Battle and Valiant (23rd Oct 1976), 1st Battle-Action (19th Nov 1977), 1st Battle Action Force (8th Oct 1983).
Jun 2014: a run of issues #1-45 fetched £135 on eBay UK.
Feb 2017: a Fine+ copy of the #1 with a VFN unused free gift set of stickers fetched £128 on ebay UK.
